Baby You’re a Firework! – Calling All Volunteers
After years of participating in the Huntington Beach fireworks stand lottery, McKenna Claire Foundation is excited about being awarded a TNT stand this 4th of July. TNT has been a ardent supporter through the years, and this stand offers the opportunity to raise a large amount of funds in a very short amount of time. But, we need your help!
Day to day, MCF is run by 4 people (1 part-time and 2 volunteers). In order for this stand to be successful, we need over 100 volunteers. If you have ever thought about volunteering, here is your chance. Shifts are 3 hours and volunteers must be 18 or over. Grab your friends, or come meet some new ones. 12th Annual Party With A Purpose
Oh what a night!
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the most successful Party With a Purpose yet – Disco Ball raised over $214,000 for pediatric brain cancer research.
It was an absolute joy to see our sponsors, friends, families, and even a few complete strangers dressed in incredibly outrageous 70’s attire laugh, eat, drink, bid and dance the night away. A big thank you to those of you who could not be at the event physically but participated in our silent auction and donated generously online.

If you loved the 80’s (Don’t Stop Believin’), returned to prohibition (Bootlegger Ball), found yourself at Woodstock (Peace, Love & Hope), spent a day on the beach (Aloha Friday), pretended to be secret agent (A View to a Cure), ridden with the Covid Cowboy (Boots & Butterflies), enjoyed a day with the Rat Pack (Come Fly With Me) and through all this needed a siesta (Cinco de Macky), you have truly Partied With A Purpose.

On Saturday, May 14th, the McKenna Claire Foundation (MCF) will bring together friends, associates and business partners to host the 12th Annual Party With A Purpose, DISCO BALL. Our goal is to raise funds for pediatric brain cancer research and highlight the ongoing work being done for the benefit of children and families who continue to fight the pediatric cancer battle.

McKenna Claire Foundation (MCF) is partnering with several local schools to raise funds for both pediatric brain cancer research and schools needs. Over the past 8 years, MCF has donated over $135,000 to our local schools in partnership with the Play It Forward Golf Tournament and Golf Ball Drop. This year, we have been given the opportunity to raffle a NEW Toyota (courtesy of Claremont Toyota – details below).. school partners will receive 50% of the ticket proceeds for every ticket sold by their students. All purchased tickets will be assigned a number and be part of the raffle being held on May 1, 2022. Tickets are $25 each or 5 for $100.

In these trying times, what better way to honor those closest to you than by gifting a donation to McKenna Claire Foundation in their name and giving children fighting brain cancer HOPE for a brighter future.
It’s easy…from December 1st – December 31st make a donation in honor of the person/people you are grateful for. An amazing community of friends and partners will be gathering on Friday, November 19th for the 6th Annual McKenna Claire Foundation (MCF) Charity Poker Tournament. This year’s “Poker At The Museum” will be held at the Westside Museum in Costa Mesa . This remarkable mid-century, bi-level building is a unique location with plenty of space to play poker, enjoy the company of friends, shuffle board, billiards, ping pong, music and so much more. Whether you are a “Poker At The Museum” player, sponsor, or guest simply enjoying this amazing space, it promises be a great start to the Thanksgiving Holiday week.
Prizes will be awarded to the top players, as well as a light dinner is included for all registered players and guests. Cash Bars will be available all night.

The 2021 McKenna Claire Foundation / Chevron Butterfly Tour is coming to a corporate owned and operated Chevron station near you!
For the tenth year in a row, the patrons of participating Chevron stations will be given the opportunity to purchase the McKenna Claire Foundation’s butterfly (originally drawn by McKenna).
From August 1st – August 31st, MCF butterflies will be available for a $1 or $5 donation. With your help, McKenna’s butterflies will not only shine a light on pediatric cancer, but fund the much needed research that children and families so desperately need.
To date, the patrons of Chevron have helped raise nearly $2,600,000 to the benefit of pediatric brain cancer research. Please consider visiting a participating Chevron and purchasing an MCF butterfly.
