Are you ready to Stand Up & Shine? 

We have lots of tips, ideas and even downloadable logos, graphics and forms to help you create your very special lemonade stand!  Click on the blue links below to access downloads.

              And …if you register here before July 24th, we will send you a Stand Up & Shine toolkit and tshirt!

Let’s get started:

1) Register your stand here.  Have your parents print, sign and mail in the consent form.  Register by July 24th and include your t-shirt size and we will send you your very own “Keep Calm and Shine On” T-Shirt to wear during your lemonade stand!  This year we are inviting participants to go a step further by joining us in our, first ever, Shine-a-Thon, where participants can collect “per cup pledges” or lemonade stand “sponsorships” from friends, neighbors and out of town family members.  Participation in the Shine-a-Thon is optional and participants are not required to hold a MCF Stand Up and Shine Lemonade Stand.  This year a Grand Prize Summer Fun Bucket will be given to the Lemonade Stand that sells the most cups as well as the lemonade stand with the largest overall funds raised (per cup + donations/sponsorships).

2) Publicize your stand…make signs, email, text, share, write and tell your friends and relatives about your lemonade stand and what your donation will help support.  Be sure to get your parents’ permission first.

3) Gather your supplies.  Cups, napkins, lemonade mix, ice, ice chest and baked goodies are all an important part of a successful lemonade stand.  A folding table, umbrella, chairs and change box will make your day much easier.  Print out Macky’s Story for your customers to read and make signs showing your support for finding a cure for pediatric brain cancer.  Get creative!  Bright colorful signs will attract more customers and help spread awareness!

4) Join the Stand Up and Shine Squad!  Hold your Stand Up and Shine Lemonade Stand anytime during the week of Saturday, August 2nd thru Sunday, August 10th, 2014.  Take pictures of your stand and ask your parent(s) to help you send them back to us!  We love to see the work you are doing and want to share it with our supporters (with your parents’ consent).  You can send your high resolution photos by email to shine@mckennaclairefoundation.org or post them to our Facebook page at www.facebook.comMcKennaClaireFoundation.org.  If you share pictures of your stand on social media please tag us and use the hashtag #mackyshines.

5) Kindly remit your donation….Ask your parent to write a check or money order, payable to “McKenna Claire Foundation” for the funds you raised at your lemonade stand and mail it to:
